Meet Makibaō: The Unlikely Racehorse

Midori no Makibaō tells the story of a very special horse. His name is Midori Makibaō. He looks a bit unusual for a racehorse. He is small, like a donkey, and has wide nostrils. But don't let his looks fool you! Makibaō has incredible courage and amazing speed. These are his secret weapons in every big race.

Makibaō's Big Goals

When Makibaō first started, it was tough for him to become a racehorse. But he had strong reasons to keep trying. One big reason was his rival, a powerful horse named Superhorse Cascade. Makibaō really wanted to beat him.

Another important goal for Makibaō was to win back his mother, Midori. She had been taken away because of debts. Makibaō was determined to win races to bring her home. He faced many challenges, but he always pushed through. He raced hard to become a truly great racehorse.
