History of Mifflin Village
Mifflin was first established in 1816. Back then, it was known by a different name: Petersburg. Later, in 1841, a post office opened in the village. This post office was named Mifflin, and it stayed open until 1907.

- Charles Paxton Zaner: He was a famous calligrapher, which means he was an expert in beautiful handwriting. Sadly, he passed away in a car accident in Mifflin in 1918.
