Miguel Cascales Maestre (born 5 November 1979) is a famous chef, author, and TV presenter from both Australia and Spain. You might know him as the host of Ready Steady Cook Australia or from The Living Room. He has also hosted other TV shows like Miguel's Feast and Miguel's Tropical Kitchen. In 2020, Miguel won the sixth season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in Australia. He became an Australian citizen in October 2013.

Miguel's Journey to Becoming a Chef
Miguel started his cooking adventure when he was 21 years old. He moved to Scotland, where he began cooking and learned to speak English. After working there, he went back to Spain for a bit. Then, he moved to Australia, where he worked in some of Sydney's best kitchens.
When he was 27, Miguel became the Head Chef at Tony Bilson's Number One Wine Bar in Sydney. He later met a famous Spanish chef named Ferran Adrià. This meeting inspired Miguel to open Australia's biggest Spanish restaurant, El Toro Loco, at Manly Beach. He was the head chef there until 2010.
