James Michael Hill (born August 19, 1970) is an American television personality and talk show host. He is well-known for his work on sports networks like ESPN and FOX Sports. Mike Hill has hosted many popular shows and covered major sports events throughout his career.

Mike Hill's Career Journey
Mike Hill grew up in both the Bronx, New York, and Bessemer, Alabama. After finishing high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a reservist. This means he served part-time while also pursuing other goals.
Starting in Television
Mike began his TV career in 1995. His first job was as a sports director at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland. Later that year, he became an anchor at KSEE-TV in Fresno, California.
From 1997 to 2000, Mike worked at WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he covered high school football and won two Emmy Awards for his excellent work. An Emmy Award is a special prize given for great achievements in television.
After Nashville, he hosted shows at Fox Sports Net in New York City from 2000 to 2002. Before joining ESPN, he was a sports anchor at KXAS-TV in Dallas, Texas, from 2002 to 2004.
Time at ESPN
Mike Hill joined ESPN in 2004 and stayed there until 2013. ESPN is a very famous sports network. During his time there, he hosted many different shows.
He co-hosted Hill and Schlereth on ESPN Radio. He also appeared on popular TV shows like SportsCenter, ESPN First Take, NFL Live, and Baseball Tonight. He even covered special events, like Cam Newton's Pro Day at Auburn in 2011.
Moving to FOX Sports
In August 2013, Mike Hill moved to Fox Sports 1 (FS1). He has been a guest host on shows like Fox Sports Live and Fox Football Daily. He also helps with the network's college basketball coverage.
On April 7, 2014, Mike started hosting America's Pregame. He hosted this show until it ended in September 2015. In 2018, he hosted BIG3 basketball games on FS1. Later, in October 2019, he began hosting The Mike and Donny Show on Fox Soul. From 2021 to 2022, he co-hosted a morning show called Start Your Day With Sharon and Mike on the Black News Channel.
Life Outside of Work
Mike Hill was married to Cynthia Bailey. She is a former model and a star from the reality TV show Real Housewives of Atlanta. They got married on October 10, 2020. Mike often appeared on the show with her. They later divorced in 2022.
