Mawougno Mila Ami Aziablé, often called Mila Aziablé, is an engineer and a politician from Togo. She serves as a special minister for Energy and Mines for the President of Togo. She started this important job on October 1, 2020.
Mila's Early Life and Education
Mila Aziablé was born in Togo around 1991. She went to high school in Lomé, which is a city in Togo. After high school, she was accepted into the University of Lomé. There, she studied at the National School of Engineering (ENSI).
Because she was a very good student, Mila received a special scholarship. This scholarship allowed her to study engineering in Metz, France. In 2012, Mila finished her studies and earned a degree in mechanical engineering. She graduated from a public engineering school called the École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz (ENIM).
The next year, she continued her studies at another famous school in Paris, France. This school was called the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, or Mines ParisTech. At this school, she focused on learning about gas engineering and how to manage gas resources.
In 2018, she went to the Paris Institute of Political Studies, also known as Sciences Po. She earned a special master's degree there. This degree focused on how to create and manage policies for development.
Her Journey in Engineering and Politics
After finishing her advanced studies, Mila Aziablé started working as a "gas operations engineer." She worked for a company called GRTgaz. This company is part of a larger French industrial group named ENGIE.
In October 2020, when Mila was 29 years old, she was given a very important role. She was named the Minister Delegate to the President of Togo. Her job involves overseeing energy and mining. She is the youngest person to be part of the President's team of ministers. She took over this role from Marc Ably Bidamon, who had served from 2015 to 2020.
