Gerard Milton Earnhart (April 1, 1918 – June 6, 2020) was an American politician and a former broadcast journalist. He was a member of the Democratic Party. Earnhart served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1959 to 1966. Later, he was a member of the Arkansas Senate from 1967 to 1980.
Milt Earnhart's Career
Milt Earnhart served in the United States Army during World War II. This was a very important global conflict. Before he became a politician, Earnhart worked in broadcasting. He was a weatherman for KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This TV station is connected with CBS News. He also worked in his family's business. It was a vehicle repair shop that started in 1921.
Becoming a Politician
Milt Earnhart was a member of the Democratic Party. He represented people in the state of Arkansas. The Arkansas House of Representatives is part of the state's government. It helps make laws for Arkansas. Earnhart served there for eight years.

Personal Life
Milt Earnhart was married to Mary Elizabeth Robben. They had three children together. He lived a very long life. In April 2018, he celebrated his 100th birthday. Earnhart passed away on June 6, 2020. He was 102 years old when he died.
