Maria Christina "Mimi" Kok (born January 25, 1934 – died April 19, 2014) was a Dutch actress. She was famous for her roles in films and on television.

About Mimi Kok
Mimi Kok was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She became known after winning a beauty contest in Zandvoort in 1951. A famous Dutch entertainer named Toon Hermans noticed her talent. He then asked her to join his theater show.
In the late 1950s, Mimi tried to start a musical career in the United States. However, it did not work out as she hoped. She returned to the Netherlands feeling sad.
Her Acting Career
After returning home, Mimi started working with Toon Hermans again. This helped her career take off! She began acting in many plays, films, and TV shows. She played over 30 different characters. Some of her roles were funny, while others were more serious.
One of her most well-known roles was Gé Braadslee. She played this character on the TV show Het is weer zo laat!. This show was created by Wim T. Schippers.
In 2012, Mimi appeared in a reality TV show called Krasse Knarren. She was on the show with four other older famous people. Later in her life, she sometimes felt lonely. To help herself and others, she volunteered at a phone helpline.
Her very last public appearance was in 2013. She was on a boat during the Amsterdam Gay Pride parade. In January 2014, she became sick and went to the hospital with pneumonia.
Mimi Kok passed away on April 19, 2014, due to a lung illness.
