The Minneapolis—Saint Paul International Airport represents a joint civil-military public use airport. It is located in Hennepin County, Minnesota within ten miles of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul and serves Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas and Nebraska. The "International Airport" identity was given to the airport around 1944.
