About Miriam Bryant
Miriam Bryant was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her father is British, and her mother is Finnish. Miriam went to a Finnish school in Sweden and also spent time in Iisalmi, her mother's hometown in Finland. When she was younger, she sometimes felt that people of Finnish background were not always treated fairly in Sweden. Because of this, she often talked about her English heritage as a child.
Starting Her Music Journey
Miriam began writing songs in 2011 with her friend, Victor Rådström. He is a producer and songwriter. Just four months later, she released her first single, "Finders, Keepers," in March 2012. This song quickly became popular online and was noticed by many music fans and bloggers around the world. Miriam signed with Warner Music in Sweden and Interscope Records in the United States.
Collaborations and Growing Fame
Miriam has worked with famous music producers, including Zedd. Zedd first heard her music on German radio. He even created a special version of her song "Push Play" for his album.
In 2013, Miriam released her first music collection in the United States, called Push Play EP. Her popularity grew even more in 2015 when she was part of a Swedish TV show called Så mycket bättre. On this show, artists perform each other's songs.
