Playing as a Professional
In the year 2000, Mitsumasa Yoda joined a team called Montedio Yamagata. This club played in the J2 League, which is a professional football league in Japan. He quickly became an important player for them. He often played as a right side back.
In 2004, he moved to another team, Thespa Kusatsu. This club was in the Japan Football League at the time. He continued to play many matches for them. His team, Thespa Kusatsu, did very well. They were promoted to the J2 League in 2005. This meant they moved up to a higher level of professional football.
