Mixersville's History
Mixersville was first planned out in 1846 by a person named William Mixer. The community was named after him, which is how it got its unique name.
Early Services
A post office, where people could send and receive mail, opened in Mixersville in 1851. This post office served the community for many years, helping people connect through letters and packages. However, it eventually closed down in 1903.
