Robert Lawrence Horne (born April 13, 1967 – died October 19, 2025) was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1993 to 1996. There, he wrestled as "Mo" and later "Sir Mo." He won the WWF World Tag Team Championship with his partner Mabel. Together, they were known as "Men on a Mission".

Mo's Exciting Wrestling Journey

Starting His Wrestling Career (1991–1993)

Robert Horne began his wrestling career in 1991. He soon teamed up with Nelson Frazier in the Pro Wrestling Federation. They were known as "The Harlem Knights". Horne wrestled as "Bobby Knight" and Frazier as "Nelson Knight". They pretended to be brothers in their wrestling stories. Their manager, George South, helped them win two PWF Tag-Team titles. In 1992, Horne also had two matches in the WWF.

Moving to United States Wrestling Association (1993)

In 1993, The Harlem Knights joined the United States Wrestling Association (USWA). They were known for their large size and strong presence. They wrestled against popular stars like Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett. Their exciting matches in both the PWF and USWA caught the attention of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). They signed a contract with the WWF in mid-1993.

When Horne and Frazier joined the WWF, they got new characters. They became "good guys" with a fun rap style. Horne was renamed "Mo" and Frazier became "Mabel". Their team was called "Men on a Mission" (M.O.M.). They had a rapping manager named Oscar. The team became very popular. Fans loved Mabel's unique size and their fun personalities. Oscar's raps also made the crowd cheer.

Winning the Tag Team Championship

Men on a Mission had some great matches. They even won the WWF Tag Team Championship during a tour in the United Kingdom. However, they lost the titles back to The Quebecers two days later. Mo got injured in a match in May 1994. He returned to wrestling in October. During this time, Mabel started wrestling more by himself. He was a "special attraction" because of his size.

Turning into "Sir Mo"

In April 1995, Mo and Mabel changed their characters. They became "bad guys" and attacked other wrestlers. They also turned on their manager, Oscar. After this, Mabel won the "King of the Ring" tournament. He became "King Mabel," and Mo became his loyal helper, "Sir Mo." The team's focus shifted to King Mabel. Sir Mo often acted more as a manager. He wrestled less during this time.

One of their last big matches was at "In Your House 2." They defeated Razor Ramon and Savio Vega. Mo's last WWF match was in January 1996. Men on a Mission's final appearance together was at the 1996 Royal Rumble. Mo was at ringside supporting Mabel. After this, they left the WWF.

Life After WWF: USWA and Independent Wrestling (1996-2007)

After leaving the WWF, Mo and Mabel returned to the USWA. They wrestled against other teams there. The team eventually split up in June 1996. Mo then joined a group called the "original Nation of Domination." He wrestled as "Sir Mohammad." This character showed a strong sense of pride in his heritage.

Horne continued wrestling in the Memphis area as "Rob Harlem." He also started his own wrestling company called "Southern Extreme Wrestling." He both organized and wrestled in matches for his company. Later, he teamed with "Deon Harlem" as "The Regulators." They won the PPW Tag Team Title. They held these titles until the company closed in 2001.

In 2003, Bobby Horne returned to wrestling. He used a new character, "Marley Pride." He even had a short rivalry with his former partner, Mabel. Mo also wrestled a match for Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2006. In 2007, he defeated Christian York at ISPW. After this, he retired from wrestling for a while. He then worked as a truck driver. He also promoted "New Blood Wrestling" from 2006 to 2009.

Returning to the Ring (2014-2017)

In 2014, Horne came out of retirement. He defeated Mike King in a match in Indiana. In 2015, he wrestled as Sir Mo in Canada. He teamed with Davey Boy Smith Jr. and later with Lord Deon. Their team, called MOM2K, won the UCW tag team titles. These titles were later made vacant in September 2015. Since January 2016, Horne and his wife, Denise Jones, have run SOAR Championship Wrestling in Dallas, Texas.

Mo's Personal Life and Health

Robert Horne faced several health challenges in his later years. In 2018, he received a kidney transplant. He needed to take special medicine for the rest of his life to help his body accept the new kidney.

In January 2022, his health became more serious. He needed a liver transplant. Doctors were concerned about his body's ability to accept a new liver. He was also hospitalized while battling COVID-19. By February 2022, he was released from the hospital. He shared on social media that he was recovering in a medical facility. He was using an oxygen tank and taking antibiotics. His kidneys had improved, and he no longer needed dialysis. He thanked his fans and his wife, Denise, for their support during his recovery.

Remembering Mo

Robert Lawrence Horne, known to wrestling fans as Sir Mo, passed away on October 19, 2025. He battled a blood infection and pneumonia for two months. These health issues were in addition to other health problems he had. He will be remembered as a WWE Tag Team Champion.
