Mohamadou Idrissou (born on March 8, 1980) is a former professional football player from Cameroon. He was known for his role as a striker, which means his main job was to score goals for his team. He had a long career, playing for many clubs, mostly in Germany.

Football Career
Idrissou played for many different football clubs across Europe. He was known for moving to new teams and taking on new challenges.
Journey Through German Football
In 2011, Idrissou joined the 2. Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. During the 2011–12 season, he was a key player, scoring 14 goals. His goals helped the team get promoted back to the top German league, the Bundesliga.
After his success with Frankfurt, he made a move to another 2. Bundesliga team, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, in July 2012. He continued to be a strong goal-scorer for his new club.
Playing in Other Countries
In May 2014, Idrissou decided to play outside of Germany. He signed with Maccabi Haifa, a team in Israel. His time there was short, and he left the club in November 2014.
The next year, he moved to the Republic of Macedonia (now North Macedonia) to play for FK Shkëndija.
Return to Germany and Later Years
In 2015, Idrissou returned to Germany and joined KFC Uerdingen 05. After two years with the team, he moved to a club in Austria called Union Hallein. In 2018, he joined another Austrian team, FC Kufstein.
Towards the end of his career, he played for teams in Germany's lower leagues. In October 2020, he signed with Viktoria Griesheim, which plays in the fifth-tier Hessenliga. He officially retired from playing professional football in 2021.
Playing for Cameroon
Idrissou was an important player for the Cameroon national team. He represented his country in several major tournaments.
He was part of the team for the 2004 African Nations Cup. Cameroon played well and finished at the top of their group in the first round. He also played for his country at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship when he was younger.
