Mohammed Mohammed Noor Adam Al-Hawsawi, often called Mohammed Noor, was a famous football player from Saudi Arabia. He was born on February 26, 1978. People also knew him as Abu Nooran or simply Noor. He played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped his team score goals and also defended. Mohammed Noor spent almost his entire career playing for the Al-Ittihad team in the Saudi Professional League. In 2013, he had to leave Al-Ittihad because of money problems. He then played for Al-Nassr for one year before coming back to Al-Ittihad.

Playing for Clubs: A Star Career

Mohammed Noor played for Al-Ittihad for many years, from 1996 to 2013. He was a key player for them, scoring many goals and helping his team win important matches. He played in 482 games for Al-Ittihad and scored 116 goals during his first time with the club.

Moving to Al-Nassr

In 2013, Mohammed Noor joined Al-Nassr. He played 23 games for them and helped them win the Saudi Professional League and the Saudi Crown Prince Cup in the 2013–2014 season. Even though he didn't score any goals for Al-Nassr, his experience and leadership were very important.

Returning to Al-Ittihad

After one year with Al-Nassr, Mohammed Noor returned to his beloved Al-Ittihad in 2014. He played 20 more games for them until 2016, scoring 2 more goals. In total, he played 525 club games and scored 118 goals in his career. He was also known for making many assists, which means he passed the ball to teammates who then scored. For example, in the 2008–2009 season, he made 11 assists for Al-Ittihad.

Playing for His Country: Saudi Arabia

Mohammed Noor also played for the Saudi Arabia national football team. His first game for the national team was in 1999 during the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup.

World Cup Appearances

He played for Saudi Arabia in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Later, in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, he showed a strong performance even when he was feeling unwell. In a match against Tunisia, he made a great pass that helped his teammate Yasser Al-Qahtani score a goal, tying the game 1–1.

  • On November 11, 2011, he scored against Thailand in another 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
