Mohsen Tanabandeh (Persian: محسن تنابنده; born April 15, 1975) is a well-known Iranian actor, director, and writer. He has won many awards for his work in movies and TV shows.

In 2022, Mohsen Tanabandeh won a big award called the Orizzonti Award for Best Actor. He received this award at the 79th Venice International Film Festival for his role in the movie World War III. He has also won three Crystal Simorgh awards and four Hafez Awards, which are very important in Iran.

Many people know him for playing the character Naghi Mamoli in the popular TV series Paytakht, which aired from 2011 to 2020. He was not only an actor in Paytakht but also the person who created the show and wrote most of its scripts. For his work on Paytakht, he won three Hafez Awards for his acting and writing.
