Molly Quinn's Acting Journey
Early Life and Training
Molly Quinn was born in Texarkana, Texas. When she was six years old, she acted in a play called The Nutcracker. After that, she started taking acting lessons every week. Her teacher was a director and producer named Martin Beck.
In sixth grade, Molly tried out for the Young Actors Studio. She trained there for six months. After her training, she signed with an agency to help her find acting jobs.
Starring in Castle
From 2009 to 2016, Molly starred in the TV show Castle. This was a mystery drama series on ABC. Molly played Alexis Castle, who was the daughter of the main character. She also played a different character named Sally Campbell in one episode of the show.
Voicing Bloom in Winx Club
From 2011 to 2015, Molly was the voice of Bloom in the animated series Winx Club. This was a new version of the show by Nickelodeon. At first, Molly tried to make her voice sound like a cartoon character. But Nickelodeon told her to use her normal voice. They wanted the characters to sound like "real girls."
Molly also voiced Bloom in two movies based on the Winx Club series. These were Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom and Winx Club 3D: Magical Adventure.
Other Voice Roles and Movies
In March 2014, Molly lent her voice to a podcast series called Welcome to Night Vale. She played a smart computer named Fey in an episode called "Numbers." In 2021, she starred in a horror movie called Agnes.
