Early Life and Education
Momoko Ando spent some of her early life studying in the United Kingdom. She went to the University of London and studied arts. After that, she moved to New York University. There, she learned how to make films. She started her career by working as an assistant on movie sets.

In 2010, Momoko Ando directed her first movie. It was called Kakera: A Piece of Our Life. This film was based on a Japanese comic book, also known as a manga.
