Monica Lynn went to college to study music. She earned her first degree, a Bachelor of Music, from the University of Texas at Austin. There, she learned from teachers like Stefan Kostka and David Neumeyer. She continued her studies at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She worked with famous composers such as James Mobberley and Chen Yi. Later, she earned her highest degree, a Doctor of Musical Arts, from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She also taught classes at the University of California, Santa Cruz, while she was a student there.
Awards and Recognitions
Monica Lynn has received many awards for her music. These awards show how talented she is as a composer.
