The Ski Resort's Beginning
The ski resort at Mont Owl's Head was started by a person named Fred Korman. It first opened its doors in 1965. When it first opened, it had three lifts to take skiers up the mountain. These included two chairlifts and one T-bar lift. There were also six different ski runs for people to enjoy.

Today, the Owl's Head ski area has grown a lot! It offers a wide variety of slopes for everyone. There are 50 different trails in total.
- About 30% of the trails are easy, perfect for beginners.
