A Look at Montevite's Past
Before 1976, Montevite was part of a different local government area. It was grouped with two other villages, Nanclares de la Oca and Ollávarre. This group was known as the Nanclares de la Oca municipality. Later, Montevite became part of the Iruña de Oca municipality, which is how it is today.
