Morelos is a small but interesting area in the state of Coahuila, located in the northeastern part of Mexico. It's one of the 38 special areas called "municipalities" in Coahuila. The main town, also named Morelos, is where the local government is located. This municipality covers about 606.2 square kilometers. In 2005, around 1,516 people lived here.
