A Presidential Visit

On October 26, 2006, something exciting happened at Morley's main factory. The President of the United States at that time, George W. Bush, made a surprise visit. He came to the factory in Clinton Township before going to a political event.

President Bush toured the factory to see how the candies were made. After his tour, he bought some treats. He picked up a can of Sanders hot fudge sundae topping for himself and his team.

If you wanted to buy Morley Candy directly, there were three special stores in the Metro Detroit area. These stores were located in Clinton Township, Rochester, and Eastpointe.

What Happened Next?

In 2018, another company called Kar's Nuts bought Morley Candy. After this happened, the Morley brand name was not used as widely as it used to be.
