Morten Tyldum (born May 19, 1967) is a talented Norwegian film director. He is well-known for directing exciting movies. In Norway, he is famous for the thriller Headhunters (2011). This movie was based on a popular book. Internationally, he is recognized for the historical drama The Imitation Game (2014). For this film, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director. He also directed the science fiction movie Passengers (2016).

Morten Tyldum was born in Bergen, a city in Norway. He moved to New York to study film. He attended the School of Visual Arts there. Before going to film school, he dreamed of becoming a musician. However, he changed his mind and decided to focus on making movies instead.
