Mount Alberts is a tall, pointed mountain in Antarctica. It's almost completely covered in snow! This mountain stands about 2,320 meters (that's over 7,600 feet) high. You can find it on the Borchgrevink Coast in western Victoria Land, which is a part of Antarctica.

Mount Alberts is located about 11 miles east of another mountain called Mount Phillips. It sits on the eastern edge of a large flat area known as the Malta Plateau. The mountain is also just south of where the Line Glacier ends, and it looks out over the western side of the Ross Sea.

Discovering Mount Alberts

Mount Alberts was officially named in 1966 by the New Zealand Geographic Board. This group is in charge of naming places in New Zealand and parts of Antarctica.

Alberts worked for the United States Department of the Interior. This is a government department in the U.S. that manages public lands and natural resources.
