Starting as a Coach

Hojeij began his coaching journey in 2012. He started as a player-coach for Nejmeh, meaning he played and coached at the same time. In 2014, he became the head coach of Nabi Chit. Later that year, he took over Racing Beirut and helped them avoid being moved to a lower league.

In the 2015–16 season, he coached Shabab Sahel. The following season, he returned to Racing Beirut and won the Lebanese Challenge Cup with them.

Coaching Ahed and Tripoli

In 2017, Ahed appointed Hojeij as their head coach. He led them to a notable victory against Zamalek of Egypt in the 2017 Arab Club Championship. He also won the Lebanese Super Cup with Ahed against Ansar. On December 18, 2017, Hojeij became the head coach of Tripoli for the second half of the season.
