Mowry Landing was once a small community in Alameda County, California. It was also known as Mawry Landing or Mowry's Landing in the past. This area is located about 2 miles (3 km) southeast of the center of Newark. It sits right on the edge of the San Francisco Bay, only 10 feet (3 meters) above sea level.
