Mr. Meaty is a fun TV show from both the United States and Canada. It aired on CBC Television in Canada and the Nicktoons Network in the U.S. The show first started in 2004 as short cartoons shown on Nickelodeon. This series is all about puppets who work at a fast food restaurant called Mr. Meaty.

The Mr. Meaty show began as a group of short videos. These shorts were shown on CBC's The Void. They also played between shows on Nickelodeon. You can still find many of these original shorts online. They are available on places like iTunes and TurboNick.
Meet the Characters
The show features a cast of funny and unique characters. Most of the main characters are puppets. They work or hang out at the Mr. Meaty fast food place.
Josh Redgrove
Josh Redgrove is a 16-year-old who works at the cashier. He is often seen as the smarter one of the two main employees. Josh is very interested in dating and talking to girls. He often tries to impress female customers.
Josh also loves making movies and listening to indie-punk music. He tries to act cool and his big dream is to become a filmmaker or a rock star. Jamie Shannon provides his voice.
Parker Dinkleman
Parker Dinkleman is 15 years old and works as the fry cook at Mr. Meaty. He is a bit silly and sometimes a little messy. Parker enjoys making movies with his friend Josh. He also likes cooking different foods.
However, Parker's messy habits can sometimes scare away the girls Josh is talking to. Because of this, Parker often causes funny problems for Josh. Jason Hopley is the voice of Parker.
Doug the Mall Cop
Doug the Mall Cop is a strong security guard. He has a short haircut, dark sunglasses, and a serious look. Doug speaks with a tough attitude. He is very dedicated to his job at the mall.
Doug can be friendly to kids, but he gets very serious with people who cause trouble. He is very scared of zombies. Doug also knows martial arts. He seems to like Josh and Parker. He even wanted to be a hero to them. Todd Doldersum voices Doug.
Edward R. Carney
Edward R. Carney is the 109-year-old person who started Mr. Meaty. He is also the CEO, which means he runs the whole company. He was once frozen for a long time. Carney is often a main villain in some episodes.
He wants everyone to eat Mr. Meaty meals five times a day. He claims he started with nothing but a lot of meat. He says he rules "the ninth largest meat buffet in the universe." Marty Stelnick is his voice actor.
Mr. Wink
Mr. Wink is the manager of Mr. Meaty. It is hinted that he used to be a kind person. But Carney used a special electric chip to make him cold, mean, and almost like a robot. His family signed a contract many years ago. This contract forces him to work for Carney.
When he gets shocked by the chip, he used to be terrified. But later, he seems to expect it. He might even say something sarcastic like, "Oh, here it comes," before it happens. Troy Baker voices Mr. Wink.
