Some of his most popular roles include Joel Miller in the The Last of Us games, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It was found that Voiceverse had used voice technology from 15.ai—a free, non-commercial text-to-speech application—without permission or attribution. After this was discovered, Troy Baker decided to end his partnership with Voiceverse.

Before becoming a full-time actor, Troy Baker was the lead singer and guitarist for an alternative rock band called Tripp Fontaine. They released an album in 2004.
