Some of his most popular roles include Joel Miller in the The Last of Us games, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. He also voiced Samuel "Sam" Drake in the Uncharted series and Agent Jones in Fortnite.

Becoming a Voice Actor
Troy Baker started his voice acting journey by doing radio commercials. He soon began working on English versions of anime shows like Bleach and Naruto: Shippuden. Later, he moved to Los Angeles and started voicing characters in Marvel animated series. He played characters like Hawkeye and Loki in shows such as Ultimate Spider-Man.

Troy Baker's career in video games took off when he voiced Matt Baker in the Brothers in Arms series. He found that actors were becoming more important in games. In 2013, he became widely recognized for two big roles: Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite and Joel in The Last of Us. Both games were very popular and won many awards. In January 2022, Troy Baker announced he was working with a company called Voiceverse. This partnership caused some discussion. It was found that Voiceverse had used voice technology from 15.ai—a free, non-commercial text-to-speech application—without permission or attribution. After this was discovered, Troy Baker decided to end his partnership with Voiceverse.
Music Career
Before becoming a full-time actor, Troy Baker was the lead singer and guitarist for an alternative rock band called Tripp Fontaine. They released an album in 2004. Later, he released his first solo album, Sitting in the Fire, in 2014. In 2017, he released another album with his band, then known as Window to the Abbey.
