Muergas is a tiny village, or what's called a minor local entity, in Spain. It's located in the Burgos province, which is part of the Castile and León region. In 2020, only three people lived there! It's a very small community.

Muergas is located in the northern part of Spain. It's about 98 kilometers (around 60 miles) east-northeast of a bigger city called Burgos. This area is known for its beautiful countryside and historical sites. The village sits at an elevation of 607 meters (about 1,991 feet) above sea level.

As a minor local entity, Muergas is a small area that has some local government. However, it is still part of the larger Condado de Treviño municipality. With only three residents, Muergas is one of the smallest populated places in the region.
