Mukhammetkalyi Abylgaziev (born on January 20, 1968) is a politician from Kyrgyzstan. He held important roles in his country's government. He was the First Deputy Prime Minister from April 2016 to August 2017. He also served as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from April 2018 until June 2020.

Early Life and Education
Abylgaziev was born in a place called Kochkor District in the Naryn Region of Kyrgyzstan. This was on January 20, 1968.
He studied at the Agricultural Institute named after Constantin Scriabine. He finished his studies there in 1994. Later, in 1997, he graduated from the International University of Kyrgyzstan. He focused on Economics and Business during his studies.
Becoming Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan

Mukhammetkalyi Abylgaziev first became the acting Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan for a short time. This was from August 22 to August 26, 2017. He took on this role after the previous Prime Minister, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, stepped down. Jeenbekov left to run for president in the October 2017 election.
Before this, Abylgaziev was a Deputy Prime Minister. On April 20, 2018, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov appointed him as Prime Minister again. This happened after the government led by Sapar Isakov was changed. The new government, with Abylgaziev as Prime Minister, officially started on April 25.
Working with Other Leaders
During his time as Prime Minister, Abylgaziev met with many leaders from other countries. He talked with the Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, Russia, Pakistan, and Armenia. He also met with the Premier of China and the President of Turkey. These meetings helped Kyrgyzstan work with other nations.
On June 15, 2020, Abylgaziev resigned from his position as Prime Minister. He stepped down due to questions about how some government resources were managed. He stated that he had not done anything wrong.
