Mundo (formerly, Volcano and Volcano Springs) is an unincorporated community in Imperial County, California. It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Frink, at an elevation of 190 feet (58 m) below sea level.
The Volcano Springs post office was operated from 1901 to 1902 by Dr. Mundo, from whom the region derives its name.
