Murad Dadashov is a well-known Azerbaijani actor, producer, and TV host. He was born on December 21, 1978, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Murad is also a member of the famous Parni iz Baku KVN team and leads his own company, M Group Production. He has received special recognition for his work, being named an Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic in 2014 and a People's Artist of Azerbaijan in 2018.

Early Life and Education

Murad Ali oglu Dadashov was born in Baku. His father, Ali Mursel oglu Dadashov, worked in transport. His mother, Tamilla Abuzer gizi Aliyeva, was a musician and piano teacher. Murad's brother, Farid Ali oglu Dadashov, helped start the "KOKON" creative agency. A famous tar player and Honored Artist, Ahsan Dadashov, is Murad's great-uncle.

Murad went to secondary school No. 160 in Baku from 1985 to 1995. During this time, he joined "The Guys of Baku" Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN). This club was very important for young people in Azerbaijan. Murad first performed on a big stage in December 1993. In 2000, "The Guys of Baku" team won the "Champions of the 20th Century" title, and Murad was part of that winning team.

From 1996 to 2000, Murad studied at Baku State University. He earned a degree in "Social Sciences and Psychology," becoming a psychologist. While at university, from 1999 to 2002, he also worked as a deputy director at a research center called "Prognoz."

Career in Television and Production

Murad Dadashov started his television career in the mid-1990s at the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He worked with Jabir Imanov, another member of "The Guys of Baku" KVN club. Together, they created a project called "Bir cənub şəhərində" (Once upon a time in a southern city).

In the late 1990s, Murad hosted "Road Master" on Space TV. From January to October 2002, he was the General Producer at "ANS" Independent Broadcasting Media Company. During this time, he also hosted a daily show called "Yeriniz Məlum" (Wish you could join us) on the same channel.

M Group Production

On February 7, 2003, Murad Dadashov founded his own company, MGP (M Group Production). He served as its General Manager until 2008. The company's first project was "Mərc Şou" ("Make a Bet" Show), which aired on Lider TV in 2003. In 2005, Lider TV also broadcast "Maşın" (The Car) reality show. Murad Dadashov created and hosted both of these popular shows. From 2008 to 2010, he was the General Producer at "Lider Media Holdinq" - Lider TV.

In 2014, he was a judge on "Böyük Səhnə" (Big Stage) singing show on Public Television. In 2015, he judged "Özünü Tanıt" (Got talent) talent show on Azad Azerbaijan (ATV) TV.

On December 18, 2014, President Ilham Aliyev honored Murad Dadashov with the title of Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic. This award recognized his important contributions to Azerbaijani culture.

Personal Life

In 2001, Murad Dadashov married Ayten Elkhan gizi Dadashova, who is an orientalist. They have three sons: Kamal Murad oglu Dadashov (born November 20, 2001), Ali Murad oglu Dadashov (born March 14, 2005), and Ziya Murad oglu Dadashov (born December 3, 2010).
