Mustafa Nadarević (born May 2, 1943 – died November 22, 2020) was a very famous actor from Bosnia. Many people thought he was one of the best actors from the area that used to be called Yugoslavia. He acted in more than 70 movies!
Some of his well-known movies include When Father Was Away on Business (1985), The Glembays (1988), and The Perfect Circle (1997). Later in his career, he became super popular for playing the funny character Izet Fazlinović in the Bosnian TV show Lud, zbunjen, normalan. He played this role from 2007 until he passed away in 2020.

Early Life and Acting Career
Mustafa Nadarević was born on May 2, 1943, in a city called Banja Luka. His parents were Mehmed Nadarević and Asja Memić. When he was young, his family moved to Zagreb because of bombing in Banja Luka. His father passed away in 1946.
Mustafa went to elementary school in Zagreb and Bosanski Novi. He then attended high school in Rijeka. He loved acting and studied it at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo and later at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
During his long career, Mustafa Nadarević became known as one of the most talented actors in the Balkans. In the former country of Yugoslavia, he often played the role of a soldier called a Partisan. He was especially famous for his work in movies like When Father Was Away on Business and The Glembays.
His performance as Leone Glembay in the movie The Glembays was considered a huge success in Yugoslav film history. He even won the Golden Arena for Best Actor award at the 1988 Pula Film Festival for this role. In 1991, he won another award for Best Actor at the 17th Moscow International Film Festival for his role in the movie Silent Gunpowder.
Mustafa Nadarević's last movie role was in 2019. He played a general named Janko Bobetko in a film called General.
Personal Life
Mustafa Nadarević was married to Slavica Radović. She was a costume designer from Slovenia. They were together for twenty years. Sadly, Slavica passed away in 2012 at the age of 48 after battling breast cancer.
Health and Passing
In January 2020, Mustafa Nadarević shared that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. He passed away on November 22, 2020, at his home in Zagreb, due to complications from this illness.
