Muztagh Tower facts for kids
Muztagh Tower is a very tall mountain located in the Karakoram range. It stands at 7,273 meters (23,862 feet) high. This impressive peak is found in both China and Pakistan.
Muztagh Tower is part of a smaller group of mountains called the Baltoro Muztagh subrange. It is also known as the 90th highest mountain in the entire world.
First Climbers
The first people to successfully climb to the top of Muztagh Tower were a team of four. They reached the summit in 1956. The brave climbers were Ian McNaught-Davis, Joe Brown, John Hartog, and Tom Patey.
