My Scene: Jammin' in Jamaica is an exciting animated movie! It was the very first film in the My Scene series. This fun movie came out on May 15, 2004, in the United States. You could even buy it with special "Jammin' in Jamaica" dolls! The story follows the My Scene friends on an adventure to Jamaica. They go there for a big music contest. Eric Fogel directed this film. He also directed another movie called The Barbie Diaries.
The Story of Jammin' in Jamaica
Madison manages a cool band called Urban Desire. This band has four talented guys. They win a contest that sends them to Jamaica for the big finals! But Barbie, Nolee, and Chelsea are left behind. They really want to support their friends. So, they decide to raise money to join them in Jamaica.
Once everyone arrives in sunny Jamaica, things get a bit tricky. Barbie starts to feel a little left out. Her boyfriend, who is the lead guitarist in the band, spends more time with Madison. This causes some problems between the friends. But don't worry, they work things out in the end!

Music in the Film
The band Urban Desire performs two songs in the movie. They cover "Spontaneous Combustion" by The Fuzz. They also perform "Going Down In Flames" by Hidell. Some parts of these songs were changed to make them suitable for kids.
The film also features two songs by Leslie Mills. These songs are "Radiowave" and "Making My Way." You might recognize "Making My Way" from another movie. It was also in Barbie and the Three Musketeers, which came out in 2009.
