Nässjö IF, whose full name is Nässjö Idrottsförening, is a sports club from Nässjö, Sweden. They are best known for playing bandy. Bandy is a winter sport played on ice, similar to ice hockey but with a ball instead of a puck.

The club was started way back in 1899. Their main colors are blue and yellow. However, the team often wears blue and white uniforms when they play. Nässjö IF plays their home games at the Stinsen Arena. This arena is named after Lennart "Stinsen" Israelsson, who gave a lot of money to help build it.

Since 2007, the club has been playing in Allsvenskan. This is the second-highest bandy league in Sweden. A big moment for the club was in 1949 when they won the Swedish Championship in bandy!

Club History: Nässjö IF's Journey

Nässjö IF has a long and interesting history in Swedish bandy. When Sweden first set up a league system for bandy in 1930–31, Nässjö was one of the teams. They joined the Division 1 Södra league. This showed they were one of the important teams in the early days of organized bandy.
