The NAIA World Series is a big baseball tournament for college teams in the United States. It's been happening every year since 1957. This tournament helps decide the best college baseball team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Since 2013, it's also known as the Avista NAIA World Series because of a sponsor. For many years, since 2000, the games have been played at Harris Field in Lewiston, Idaho.

History of the NAIA World Series
The NAIA World Series has been played in many different cities over the years. The very first tournament in 1957 was in Alpine, Texas. The team from Sul Ross State won that first championship.
The city of Lewiston, Idaho has hosted the tournament the most. It was held there from 1984 to 1991 and has been there every year since 2000. Other cities that have hosted the tournament include Sioux City, Iowa, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Phoenix, Arizona. Many different schools have competed in this exciting tournament over the years.
