The Story of NRG

Starting Out Strong

NRG launched their career in 1997 and immediately caught attention. Their debut song, "I Can Do It," helped them become well-known in the K-pop world. Fans loved their energetic dance music and R&B style.

Changes and Challenges

In 1999, two members, Myunghoon and Sungjin, took a break from the group. The remaining three members continued to release music, including their album "NRG 003." Sadly, in 2000, one of the members, Hwansung, passed away after being sick. After this sad news, Myunghoon and Sungjin rejoined the group. They released a special album called "Sorrow" to remember Hwansung.

A Big Comeback

NRG made an exciting return to the music scene in 2003. Their song "Hit Song" was a huge success! It even reached the number one spot on the music charts. This showed everyone that NRG was still a powerful force in K-pop.

New Beginnings

After Sunghoon left the group, the three remaining members released one more album. Then, the group took a break. But good news came in 2017! NRG announced they would release a brand new album.
