Nabila's Pageant Journey

Before joining Nuestra Belleza Latina, Nabila won several beauty contests. In 2009, she won the title of Miss Teen República Dominicana. The next year, in 2010, she became Miss Turismo Dominicana.

In November 2010, Nabila represented the Dominican Republic. She competed in the Miss Teen International 2010 pageant. This event took place in San Jose, Costa Rica. Nabila did very well in this competition. She earned the title of 2nd runner-up.

Competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina

Nabila auditioned for a big TV show called Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014. This show is from Univision. Her audition was in New York City on December 8, 2013. She was chosen to go to Miami for the next round. There, she met the show's judges.

After many rounds of eliminations, Nabila was picked. She became one of the 12 finalists. These finalists got to live in the Nuestra Belleza Latina mansion. During the show, she won a special challenge. It was called the "50 Mas Bellos" challenge. Because of this, she was featured in People en Español magazine. She was named one of the 50 most beautiful people of 2014. Nabila made it to the top 4 contestants. She finished the competition as the 2nd runner-up. The winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014 was Aleyda Ortiz from Puerto Rico.
