Nageezi (Navajo: Naayízí) is a small community in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States. Its name in the Navajo language means "squash." Nageezi is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for population statistics, but it is not an officially incorporated town or city.
