Nana Komatsu (小松 菜奈, Komatsu Nana, born February 16, 1996) is a famous Japanese actress and model. She is well-known for her roles in many movies like The World of Kanako, Drowning Love, and My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday. She also appeared in the Hollywood film Silence.

Early Life of Nana Komatsu
Nana Komatsu was born in Tokyo, Japan, on February 16, 1996. She grew up in Yamanashi Prefecture. Her father is from Saga Prefecture, and her mother is from Okinawa. She has two older brothers.
When she was in third grade, Nana started dancing. She continued dancing until her third year of junior high school. She also learned to play the flute during junior high.
Nana Komatsu's Acting Career
Nana Komatsu started her acting career in 2008 as a model. She made her big screen debut in the 2014 film The World of Kanako. For this role, she won several awards, including "Newcomer of The Year" at the 38th Japan Academy Film Prize.
Since 2015, Nana has been a "House Ambassador" for Chanel, which is a very famous fashion brand. This means she represents the brand. In 2016, she had a small role in the American movie Silence, directed by Martin Scorsese.
Nana was nominated for "Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role" at the 43rd Japan Academy Film Prize for her part in the film Family of Strangers. In 2020, she starred in Threads: Our Tapestry of Love, which was one of the highest-earning Japanese films that year. She was also nominated for "Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role" for this movie at the 44th Japan Academy Film Prize.
In 2022, Nana starred with Kentaro Sakaguchi in the film The Last 10 Years. This movie was very popular and became one of the highest-grossing Japanese films of 2022. In 2023, Nana Komatsu became the main face for Chanel's Fall/Winter 2023-2024 fashion collection. She was the first Japanese person to be featured as the face of a collection for such a big luxury brand.
Personal Life
Nana Komatsu married fellow actor Masaki Suda on November 15, 2021. They had been dating since September 2019. On March 9, 2024, Nana and Masaki announced that they had welcomed their first child.
