Nargiz first performed on stage when she was only four years old. At 15, she sang "Remember Me" at a big TV contest for young singers called "Jurmala-86". She won the audience award there. She also studied at a circus school and performed well with her own band.

Moving to the United States

In 1995, Nargiz moved from Uzbekistan to the United States with her parents and daughter. When she first arrived in New York, she worked in different places. She worked in a store, a video rental shop, and even a tattoo parlor. She also continued to sing in restaurants.

In 2001, she released an album called "Zolotaya kletka". She sang with different music groups and later started performing on her own.

Success on "The Voice"

In 2013, Nargiz tried out for the American TV show X-Factor. She passed three rounds, but didn't hear back from the show. So, she decided to try out for the Russian TV show The Voice instead.

Nargiz really impressed all four judges on The Voice. She chose to join the team of famous musician Leonid Agutin. She made it all the way to the final round of the competition on December 20, 2013, finishing in second place.

After The Voice, Nargiz started working with producer and composer Maxim Fadeev in April 2014. He wrote her first solo song, "Ya - ne tvoya", which came out on July 3. She even appeared in the music video with her husband at the time, Philip Balzano.

In July 2014, Nargiz won the top prize at the "White Nights of St. Petersburg" International Music Festival. She represented Russia at this festival. Later that year, she was a test subject on the TV show Battle of Psychics.

Nargiz released more popular songs written by Maxim Fadeev, including "Ty - moya nezhnost" in February 2015 and "Ya ne veryu tebe!" in December 2015. Her fourth single, "Begi", came out in May 2016.

Her first solo album, "Shum serdtsa", was released on October 7, 2016. It had 15 songs, including her earlier hit singles. On September 1, 2016, she released a song called "Vdvoyom" with Maxim Fadeev. In 2018, she released the single "Nelyubov". The music video for this song featured women sharing their own stories.
