Natalia de Molina (born on December 19, 1990) is a talented Spanish actress. She is from Andalusia, a region in southern Spain.
Natalia started her acting career in movies in 2013. Her first film was a comedy-drama called Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed. Since then, she has starred in many popular films. Some of these include Food and Shelter, Quién te cantará, Bye, and Schoolgirls. She is well-known for winning several important awards, like the Goya Award for Best Actress.
Life and career
Natalia de Molina was born in Linares, a town in Spain, in 1990. When she was two years old, her family moved to Granada, where she grew up. She has three older sisters. Her uncle is an actor and theater director. Her older sister, Celia de Molina, is also an actress.
Natalia studied arts in high school. Then, she moved to Málaga to study acting. Later, she moved to Madrid to continue her studies.
Her first big movie role was in 2013. She played a pregnant woman named Belén in the film Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed. This movie was set in Francoist Spain, a time when Spain was ruled by a dictator. Natalia's performance was so good that she won the Goya Award for Best New Actress. This award is one of the most important film awards in Spain.
In 2015, Natalia was chosen as one of the "Shooting Stars" by European Film Promotion. This award recognizes talented young actors from Europe.
In 2016, Natalia won another Goya Award. This time, it was for Goya Award for Best Actress for her role in Food and Shelter. In this movie, she played a single mother who was unemployed. This made her the youngest actress to win two Goya awards!
In 2018, Natalia was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This is the group that gives out the famous Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars.
