Natasha Kaiser-Brown is an amazing American runner. She was born on May 14, 1967. Natasha was a top sprinter, especially good at the 400-meter race. Today, she is the head coach for track and field at the University of Missouri.

Early Running Days
Natasha grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. When she was in high school, she was a superstar athlete. She won nine state championships for Des Moines Roosevelt. She even held school records for the 100-meter race and the sprint medley relay. These records were later broken in 2018.
College Success at Missouri
Natasha continued her running career at the University of Missouri. She was part of the Missouri Tigers track and field team from 1985 to 1989. During her time there, she won five big titles in her conference. She was also named an NCAA All-American six times for her amazing 400-meter dash performances. In 1989, she was honored as the Big 8 Female Athlete of the Year. That same year, she became the 400-meter dash Indoor National Champion. Her time of 51.92 seconds was a college record and is still the school record today!

Natasha Kaiser-Brown competed in many important international events.
Winning at the Pan American Games
At the 1991 Pan American Games, she finished fourth in the 400-meter race. She also helped her team win a gold medal in the 4 × 400-meter relay.
Olympic Silver Medal
Natasha earned a silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She was part of the 4 × 400-meter relay team. Her teammates were Gwen Torrence, Jearl Miles, and Rochelle Stevens.
World Championship Achievements
In 1993, Natasha won two medals at the World Championships. She earned a silver medal in the 400-meter race. She also won a gold medal as part of the 4 × 400-meter relay team. That same year, she won another relay silver medal at the World Indoor Championships. She also won the 400-meter event at the 1994 Nationals. Natasha was also a member of the USA Olympic team in Atlanta in 1996. Her fastest personal time in the 400-meter race was 50.17 seconds, which she achieved in 1993.
Life After Running
Natasha is married to Brian Brown, who was also a high jumper. They coached together at Drake University. They have a daughter named Elle Brown. Elle is also an athlete and plays basketball for the University of Missouri.
