Nathan Kreuger, born on June 25, 1999, is an Australian rules footballer. He currently plays for the Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Before this, he played in the top-level Australian Football League (AFL). He played for both the Geelong Cats and the Collingwood Magpies.

How He Started in AFL
Nathan Kreuger joined the AFL in a special way in 2018. Two teams, Carlton and Gold Coast, wanted extra picks in the draft. The AFL said no to their request for regular priority picks. However, they were allowed to pick a few experienced players from State Leagues before the main draft. These special picks could be traded to other clubs. Carlton traded one of their picks to Geelong. This is how Geelong was able to pick Nathan Kreuger.
Playing for Geelong and Collingwood
Nathan is a tall player, perfect for a key forward position. He spent his first two seasons getting better at his game in the Victorian Football League (VFL). This league helps players develop their skills. He played his first AFL game against North Melbourne in Tasmania.
After the 2021 season, Nathan moved to the Collingwood Football Club. He played 13 games for the Magpies over three seasons. At the end of the 2024 AFL season, he left Collingwood. He then returned to Geelong, signing with their reserves team in the VFL.
