The Polson House: A Prairie Style Gem
- Name: Mrs. Richard Polson House
- Location: North of Spooner
- Built: 1917
- What's special: This house is a fantastic example of the "Prairie School" style of architecture. This style was popular in the early 1900s and is known for its strong horizontal lines and open spaces, like the wide-open prairies! A famous architecture firm, Purcell & Elmslie, designed it. Mrs. Polson had it built as a wedding gift for her son and his new wife.
The Siegner House: A Store Owner's Home
- Name: George V. Siegner House
- Location: 513 Dale Street, Spooner
- Built: Early 1900s
- What's special: This house is built in the "Queen Anne" style, which means it has lots of fancy details like turrets, towers, and decorative porches. It was the home of George V. Siegner, who owned a big department store in Spooner called the "Big C.O.D. Bee Hive." Imagine shopping there back in the day!

This is a place that used to be on the National Register but was later removed.
Salem Lutheran Church: A Lost Landmark
- Name: Salem Lutheran Church
- Location: 301 8th Avenue West, Shell Lake
- Listed: 1980
- Removed: 1984
- What happened: This church was once considered an important historic place. However, it was later taken down, or "demolished," which means it no longer exists. Because of this, it was removed from the National Register of Historic Places.
