How Needmore Started
This community was founded in 1905. It was started by workers from a nearby lime plant in a place called Brickey's. A lime plant makes lime, which is used in building materials and for farming.
Before this, the workers lived on property owned by the company. They decided to create Needmore so they could live more independently. This meant they would have fewer rules from the lime plant company.
