Negro Crossing was once a small community located in Tom Green County, Texas, United States. It was situated along the Middle Concho River. Today, this area is covered by the waters of the Twin Buttes Reservoir. The exact reason for its name is not clearly known. The United States Geological Survey officially recorded the name between 1976 and 1979. It was added to the Geographic Names Information System on November 30, 1979.
