Neon Indian is a music group that started in Denton, Texas, in 2008. The band's main member is Alan Palomo. He creates a unique sound by blending different music styles like indie pop and electronic music.
The group's first album was called Psychic Chasms. It came out in 2009 and got many great reviews. Music critics at Pitchfork Media called it "Best New Music." Rolling Stone magazine even named Neon Indian one of the hottest new bands in 2010.
Neon Indian made their first appearance on national television on February 11, 2010. They performed on NBC's popular show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
