Early life and pilot training

Neshat Jahandari started her pilot classes when she was just 17 years old. At the same time, she was studying to get a degree in aviation flight engineering technology. In an interview, Neshat shared a fun fact: she got her pilot's license before she even got her driver's license!

Neshat Jahandari's career as a pilot

This means she earned four stripes on her uniform. With these stripes, she is fully qualified to control an aircraft. She can fly it on her own or with a co-pilot helping her.

She started her career as a pilot with Zagros Airlines after passing all her tests. In October 2019, Neshat Jahandari and Forouz Firouzi made history again. They became the first all-female flight crew in Iran. The CEO of IranAir, Farzaneh Sharafbafi, congratulated them on this big achievement.
